So yeah, when my sapphire 7850 is in my case it looks a little flaccid. I was thinking of zip tying the PCI power cables somewhere so there is more tension to hold it up but that seems a little dangerous. My other thought was maybe fabricating some sort of back plate but my skills with the dremel are limited. Anybody else cure a limp graphics card with any success?

Even though my computer has a limp graphics card problem its not THAT old. It doesn't have a cd drive.

Well i guess I can live with it. I don't have a windowed case so its not too much of a visual issue. Originally it was bad enough that it would cause the fans to rattle at lower rpms but I managed to shimmy it up a bit.

Could put viagra in your cd tray.

Oh God....

OT: Because of the weight of the card, it will happen. Sadly you can possibly do something with the PCI-E cables and have them hold the card up by putting them in at an angle. I do this and it seems to work just fine.
