Comes with thermal paste but wipe it off and get arctic silver.

It comes pre-applied, however you may get better performance by cleaning it off and applying your own.

It comes pre-applied with thermal paste, and the thermal paste that comes on it is more then adequate for good temps and overclocks.

Not sure, but I had some NT-H1 and it worked really freaking nice.

I'm sort of on the fence between Gelid and Noctua, both are amazing and the difference between them is so close it could be offset by how tight you fasten the cooler. So when I look for thermal paste  I just get whichever of the two is cheaper at the time. I used the old IC Diamond before and it was nothing mind blowing compared to the cheaper Arctic Cooling pastes at the time, but I haven't tried their new stuff.

It doesn't matter, in both cases you're moving heat from a chip to a cooler.

No need, that'd be wasting money.

Comes pre applied and the paste it comes with should work just fine. No need to re-apply unless you're serious about your cooling.

 

When I got my AIO (Kuhler H2o 620) I used the pre-applied paste without any problems. (Obviously I put on new paste after upgrading my CPU.)
