I am looking for a CPU that can handle light gaming and regular tasking very well! My budget is 120$

I was considering the a10-6800k, and a10-6790k.

I will not be using a GPU, so I need great onboard graphics.

Thanks so much!  :D

Even the best onboard graphics is pretty blegh compared to even the cheapest gaming gpu... If you want to play anything more than csgo/dota2/tf2 type games, then you really want a dedicated gpu.

Maybe an i3. It has ok integrated graphics. My i3 can run Minecraft, TF2, ETS2, and Garry's Mod easily. Also you can upgrade to an i5 later down the road.

This ^ I'm pushing ETS2 on medium with my i3 M. i3-4130 or i3-4330.

Personally, I'm considering making a machine with the A10-7800 that would serve as my desktop for a while and which I could later turn into a passively cooled server.

The thing about buying unlocked (K) APUs is - you'll need a higher end motherboard and an aftermarket coooler to overclock.

Should I go with a a10-6800k, or the i3 4130? Or maybe the newer 4160?

A 6800K will outperform a i3's IGP, but with discrete GPU's its a different story. Do you game or? Since you said you're not using a discrete GPU, I assume not?

I do the occasional TF2, and Minecraft. But besides that I generally am using it for regular internet surfing, and Microsoft word.

Here is the current build if you care:

You can get Windows 8 for 10$ from G2a.com

Buy it from there and buy a gtx 750 orsomething that would be much better.

Get a Pentium G3258 (Linus has a video on it) and use the money you save to buy a discrete gpu like a 260 or 750

I was thinking of that, but then it will be around 180$ while a good CPU can do what I need for around 130$

Besides normal Word, and Google stuff. The only CPU taking activites I do is some Tf2,Minecraft,CSGO,and G-mod.

A tad over budget, but should be manageable, and an awful lot more powerful than the last.
