Which ram and mobo?

 Share

I'm buying a new pc. It will have:

i5-4570

Gigabyte R9 280 3GB OC

1TB Caviar Blue

XFX TS Series 550W PSU

TP-Link TL-WN851ND

LG GH24NS DVD-Rom

Zalman Z3

Samsung S24D390HL

What I'm debating is:

RAM

2x4GB Crucial Ballistix Elite 1600 MHz CL8 ~108$

1x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1600 MHz CL10 ~88$

1x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1866MHz CL10  ~98$

MOBO

ASUS H97M-E~110$

Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3 ~117$

Gigabyte GA-H97M-HD3 ~100$

Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H ~107$

Can anyone please help what parts to choose? Ty! :)

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

For RAM I'd recommend looking for some 2x4GB kits which are cheaper if you can.

For the motherboard I'd recommend the Asus board as I distrust Gigabyte.

And here I thought the one from Asus was the best.

Will I notice any difference while playing games with cheaper ram? I read somewhere it makes a difference in MMO's which I am playing most of the time.
