Vocals not removed?

Hey guys! So I wanted to try this. I wanted to remove the vocals from a song using the software Audacity. I sa some vids and tried the way they did it.  But the problem is that it doesn't work! 

 

I tried that Inverting the audio one if you're wondering. I haven't yet tried anything else though.

 

Please help me, I'd really like the vocals of a song :D

Yes. If 4k hentai is possible, why not this?

Everything is possible, but if vocals are not clear you probably have to cut everything out and remake the notes.

I've used Audacity but not for anything like this.

That would be a PitA to try if you're doing it off a single audio layer, with lots of rebuilding.

Removing it completely is very difficult. Deleting the fundamentals is do-able, but harmonics are a PITA.
