4ghz overclock club

My old overclock: 4.8 Ghz on a i7 2700K.

This was on a $110 motherboard with a $30 cpu cooler(Hyper 212 Evo) and RAM that came free with the motherboard!  Did 12 Hours of P95 stable.

Got a new motherboard which is a lot better, but I am not going to do any crazy overclocks on it until I get a better CPU cooler. Running 4.3Ghz right now, gets too hot here in the summer.

CPU: AMD 3950x Mobo: MSI B550 RAM: 32GB DDR4 GPU: Asus 3080 Strix PSU: Superflower Leadex 3 720w Case: BeQuiet 500DX

Storage: 2TB SSD + 4TB HDD Audio: SMSL 793ii -> HiFiman HE-400 + Mission MS-50 Speakers

My simple oc.

I can get it higher but don't really need it.  Folding @ 100% all day doesn't get it over 36 in a almost 80 degree room.

My i7 2600K OC'ed to 4.4GHz with 1.35V in BIOS Stable
Note that CPU Voltage on CPU-z is Vdroop and I don't know how to turn it off with my Gigabyte Motherboard because I updated it to the UEFI

Wow, great OC with that low of a voltage! Is it stable in P95?

temps topped out at 56c on prime 95 after an hour run, and the motherboard is still going strong even though mine's rev 1, think they are on rev 3 now though. After the last bios update it made my rev 1 compatible with the fx 8350, the latest am3+ socket.
