4 ghz is a accomplishment on lga 775.. 4.75 club with sum bclock oc stable prime for 12 hours sandybridge so it wasnt hard.

getting my old core 2 quad q9300 to 3.375 oc felt like a acomplishment. nowadays you just throw money at a overclock

I don't think I intentionally overclocked my CPU. I have a 3570K which was maxing out at 3.8 in Intel Turbo mode, then went into the bios and did something apparently, I don't even know, and now under heavy load like video encoding, it maxes out at 4.22Ghz.

My ageing Phenom II, this is my limitation using two GT-15`s on H70, i get better temps using the stock fans at the cost of noise.

Yeah my 1090T anything past 4.2GHz i couldnt get stable. Currently my 3770K is at 4.2GHz using the MSI mobo OC Genie one touch but after installing my new cooler will post shots of whatever i can get it to remain stable at. I hope for 4.6GHz as this seems to be fairly common for this cpu unless i got a dud :P
