I just recently bought a Hyperx cloud headset and love it. I'm currently running it of my motherboard on board audio. I also have speakers that I want to use when I'm not using my headphones. I don'y want to unplug and plug in wires if I want to change. I decided just to get a sound card. I heard all Asus Xonar cards are amazing but their are so many of them. Please help me decide. I need a card under $70 but less is always better. I would prefer to be under that. Also, do i even need a sound card and is their another solution?

I don't know about the other cards but the Xonar DG has performed quite well for my usage scenario.

the best soundcard is your motherboard unless it's four+ years old
