£800 build

Fujellup

First PC Build, £800. Will mainly be used for medium gaming, Music production, general use and maybe streaming.

Peripherals not included in the budget.

Requires 8GB RAM At least.

I have no preferences to brands, AMD or Intel, Whichever last the longest and does it best.

Any recommendations?

Since you said you are into music production you may need more storage than just 1tb.

But  I did £800 to dollars and is $1277.56 .. and for what use he have and for another 80% of ppl that use a pc, the i7 4770k is a cpu that would help them do whatver they want for at least 10years. Don't push up the overkill use of a cpu and be in line with the last tech.

Is the Cooler Master 212 Evo going to stop me from using all of the RAM slots if I decide to upgrade in the future? It seems pretty intruding.

Also, Is Hyper-threading a MUST HAVE? or just quick way to spend an extra £80? I'll be doing a lot of multitasking and maybe a tiny bit of video editing but is it going to help that much?

Oh and I'll probably be going dual screen with windows 7.

If you're only going to be doing a tiny bit of video editing it's not worth it, all it does it speed up the rendering.

This is pretty much the same as @JoaoPRSousa 's build but has an SSD.

Does the NZXT case have enough room to house the GTX 970?

Actually no, you'll have to take out the drive cages and look for a place to put your HDD/SSD.

On this budget, an SSD isn't worth it. Changed case to an Enthoo Pro because it is great for cable management, has great airflow, and plenty of room for the 970. Changed to the 600w PSU because it was only a bit more and it's semi modular, which will help with cable management.
