[Build Log] Hive Desk Build - custom scratch build of a ROG x99 EK water cooled computer desk

Rakior

I kept getting a kernel panic when I tried running SC2 on my 5820k. I read up that some people were having X99 issues with sc2 but then again I was also using Windows 10. I'm going to try installing windows 8.1 and see if that fixes my issue.

It is going to take a while before I install programs on it. Win 10 still in "beta" so i guess there can be huge number driver issues. I think this is a question better asked to someone with a x99 that has been up and running for a while.

I'm assuming no more update?

Remember a wise man once said, "You'll most likely hear/see more bad reviews from products than good, because if they get a good product, they won't bother to write a review, and if they got a bad product, they'll complain about the product" ~ SoftenButterCream
