  1. It is going to take a while before I install programs on it. Win 10 still in "beta" so i guess there can be huge number driver issues. I think this is a question better asked to someone with a x99 that has been up and running for a while.
  2. Thank you I built many PC's but only one modded/custom before this one. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/120478-hive-fire-watercooled-custom-800d/ /Hugs
  3. I will show photo's when I get home. What I look forward to when I get home is to put on the water blocks on the Motherboard and make the mods for the motherboard. If you click the link to Hive Fire below my post you will find the build I finished this spring.
  4. Not extremely experienced, maby 160h of not being very effective and doing other stuff also. The loop comes into the central compartment, from the radiators, on the left side under the alu "hood". It goes to gpu1 to gpu2 to MB block1 to cpu block to MB block2 to the 3 reservoirs then pump and finally back to radiators. I don't have any experience in getting sponsorship besides this build. What I did was just contact the company's in question presented my plan and showed early pictures of the build + images and links to earlier work. I consider myself lucky the 2 companies that made the parts I wanted for the build was interested. And finally I got into molding from reading this forum. Not tested I'd hope it does
  5. I'm going to use a fair bit of time but it's what I think is fun and don't look at it as work. It's a hobby like building a model airplane or something therapeutic. I wanted some shapes that breaks the square shaped forms that usually natural working with components made to fit in a box, I remembered the images I liked of the concept car. First 2 questions I think I answered earlier. Well I can only answer for me, I like planning just as much as building. Planning don't cost any money so I would put a lot of time into it if you like that part just as much as me and do something you want it's for yourself you building it I presume.
  6. it's inspired by a concept Ferrari so no Ferrari in production, check out my video for some pictures. Building it in a "workshop" I once helped my grandfather build for his hobby woodwork projects. this is one I better show in photos when I get home (tools: jigsaw, file and polishing material).I'll be back to answer more next chance I get.
  7. Got me a Canon 650D (think it's sold under another name in the states), that I really would like to learn more about photo on. I have always been into computers and using it to be creative since I never was any good at painting. How I got into molding is true this forum. Work as a assistant store manager. Besides the concept Ferrari (shown in the video) wall mounted computers inspired me more then desk builds. I did my first mod "Hive fire" on this forum. The workshop and tools I defiantly will show in next video, thanks for that tip
  8. Thank you all so very very much I'm just on a "smart" phone so I will answer 3 at a time Using 3DS Max on my old build, I'm sure you are just as awesome I just used the method I felt most comfortable with, I'm not unfamiliar working with wood but a skilled craftsmen would do it much faster and probably not be very impressed. No no training, just a interest and helping out at home when something needed to be made I guess.Next 3 questions in next batch.
  9. Thank You All ”Competition” I’m going away on a short trip 2 weeks (my sister getting married). I will check the forum and try to answer as soon as I can. When I get back home the motherboard water block will have arrived, so it’s time to start the finishing touches on the build. It is also time to finish the edit on part 2 in the Video log. -So what’s the “competition”? I want to give back something to some of you great people out there, I don’t have any huge prizes but it’s at least a small thank you. What I would like is some good questions. 1: To find out what you want to know about the build (so I can make a better video log and answer some questions in image/video format) 2: To have some good reading while on holiday. The prizes: 1: A kit to cut and bend acrylic tubing with inner diameter of 10 and 12mm. 2: I have 2 spare: EK-FC780 GTX Ti Backplate - Black (please check if it fits your GFX card/cooling block) 3: I will make a custom paracord sleeved 24 pin extension cable (possible more depending on what materials I have left), I have many colours so you can chose pattern and colour. 4: A ROG logo like you can see in the build (crafted by me) So all you need to do is ask any question about the build you want an answer to and if you want anything of the above just end the question with that number. I will answer the questions if I can during my holiday, if not ill do it as soon as I’m home. I’ll pick some winners soon after that and contact them (shipping/crafting may take some time, I live in Sweden, so please have some patience I don’t know how long time this will take) /Many Hugs and Thanks Rakior
  10. Thank you all so much I'm looking forward to see the build log My only tip is take your time, planning a build is Huge portion of the fun /hugs
  11. Well I was lucky to Asus and EK waterblocks sponsor this build with a large portion of the hardware in this build. I have a average paying job so had I not been sponsored I would sold my last build, saved a bit and probably waited a little longer for DDR4 prizes to normalise. This is the setup I hoped to build so I'm very happy Asus and EK believed in me and helped me realise my dream build./Hugs Rakior
  12. Time to install some hardware. Here is some pictures from my testfit of the ROG MB and the memory sticks:
  13. Bending hard tubing for the reservoirs can be a pain when the bends need to be so tight. but here they are:
