Deleting threads WTF!

Seriously! Im so pissed right now.

 

There was a intense debate going on in a thread in tech news, which had a lot of participants who actively and passionately defended their positions....The debate took a turn and I would have understood if a mod gave a warning or moved the debate to off topics but instead it was just deleted in the middle of the debate. No nothing!

 

I don't know who did it, but I would just like to say that its really pathetic that the tiniest level of disagreement will just result in a complete deleting of a thread.

Expect this to be deleted as well. As complaining about the mods is verbotten

 

And what did I say? deny, deflect, demean, silence. Get the thread deleted = silence.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

One time I got a warning point for telling OP to google something when they were looking for an image.

 

Deal with it.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

I get tired of them deleting things to. Overkill to kill the whole thread. Just lock it! 

Or don't, it wasnt to the point of being nasty, it was just spirited debate. At least that's how I felt

 

Either way, this thread will get deleted.

How dare I question the deleting of an entire thread without warning....

 

It was not a nasty debate at all...Hell we were recommending books to eachother......

The mods deleted it for a reason, if something gets enough reports and the mods think it should be gone it's going to be deleted. Just like this one will be because bitching about mods is against the rules.

Threads get deleted without warning all the time. It is the complete decision of the mods and you just have to deal with it,
