Nvidia shadowplay Laggs CSGO

soooo..... i finally found out that why im lagging on CSGO.

its not laggy 24/7 but i get lagg spikes every 5-20 seconds.

any i tried turing off Nvidia shadowplay and that fixed it.

the sad part is i still want to record with shadowplay

 

does anyone know how to fix this?

 

Driver: 344.11

 

Also its not my computer that sucks.

I7 4770k NO OC

gtx 770

8 gb ram 1600mhz

1 tb 7200rpm

I take it you have the footage recorded and the Game installed on the same HDD, because in order to get the best FPS while recording, you should record to a separate drive, it helps a lot

Change the resolution to 720p when recording to fix it.

Yo you can always download matches after the fact and record from that.

but, should i run them in raid or 1 hdd for everything and one for recordings? what is the best ?

I used to use an external hard drive to record too if I need to do live recordings. I'd recommend doing that but you can pretty much do anything you want with regards to the HDD.
