I guess AMD has a lot of customers in India and felt the need to show support. India is booming right now so I can totally see an increase in demand for work-station grade stuff over there.

 

It's no special news for us, but I say good on them. More revenue for AMD now means better GPUs and CPUs from them down the road.

yeah when I saw this I just about lost my poo. I love AMD to death for doing so much with so little resources, but their marketing should have been better aware of the false hype this was generating, and nipped it in the bud to avoid the  :huh: and the  <_< this created.

 

Now if they try to do a viral hype campaign for something big, everyone will doubt its anything worth paying attention to.

AMD was just trolling. I wish we would have seen some consumer GPU's but no such luck.

r9 285 release in india. AMD will need to wait a while before trying to build up hype for anything, cause no one will believe them.
