Corsair recognises "Gaming" branding mistake

 That's completely different. The Nike logo has become more of a fashion statement when it comes to their shirts/sweaters, etc. That badly-colored logo that is much different than the previous one which people obviously liked more than this one, may in technicality be a "fashion statement" but not in the context we're talking about. The majority doesn't like it - you know this already.

The bit I hate the most is the fact that a 12 year old could make that in some free emblem creator. The old logo was much better and it's good to see they are listening. However they have forgotten the wider world. Yes it's good the old version is still for sale on newegg but what about the UK along with the rest of the world where the only version is the new logo

 

Part of me is saying to wait for them to release the old logo in the UK but I'm not sure if they are even going to do that

When you're already paying a price premium for RGB LEDs, it's clear that appearance is a priority.

Yes, people do tend to consider the aesthetics of a product that can be classed as luxury. As for the second part, none of my clothes have visible logos.

People are still on this? I think Corsair should just keep the keyboard blank and include two alu logos in the box so that the consumer can decide which to stick on. Not sure about the mouse, but the new logo isn't that bad. Drop the text entirely and it'd look cleaner.

Its funny i dont own a single corsair product ever cause im poor peasant, but i voted the petition to keep the logo.

 

I just cant stand stupid.Cheap chinese logo vs classy sails logo for a brand i respect even if i never bought anything,i just had to put asside 2 minutes of my porn watching to vote for that and now im glad i did,whem im gonna be filthy rich Soon™ i will at least have some corsair pheripherals with a nice logo and im gonna thank internets for it.

I could be completely wrong here, but to me it seems like Corsair didn't do anything. They say for now you can buy K70 RGB with the SKU CH-9000063-NA, but this is only for the Cherry MX Red Keyboard. They also say they're going to continue selling the Vengeance K70 and Vengeance K70 RGB WITH Cherry MX Red switches using the old logo. What about the Cherry MX Blue/Brown keyboards? They're stuck with the new logo? Am I missing something?

Old thread, but yeah Corsair... This issue annoys me a lot! The "Gaming" logo on their keyboards looks like a stupid sticker and costs $40 more than the beautifully embedded traditional logo?
