Display connectors, Dual monitor

Hey Techers,

So I'm getting a new display - 144hz, 1920x1080 with DVI/VGA/HDMI available. I looked at linus as fast possible regarding these but i didnt really understand. What display connecter do i want to fully utilize the specs of this monitor? Also how do inget started once i get my 2nd monitor

For 1080P, 144Hz support you should  use a dual-link DVI cable, and the corresponding connector on you graphics card.

HDMI will only let you run at 1080P, 60Hz

VGA is not recommended to use at all.

 

If your second monitor is the same as the one you are getting now, then I still recommend using DVI, however if that is not possible, use HDMI.

Do you mean for the monitors? 

Well, no matter if it's computers or monitors, the answer is no. 

You can connect two monitors using whichever connector you prefere. 

 

If you want a quick answer, quote the person you want to talk to.

That way he/she will ge a notification, and will therefor see your response faster.
