The unibody design is not the problem, it is the cheap low grade alloy that they used for the frame that is the problem.

My bet is the lack of magnesium chassi to be the main problem

I saw the title of this post and immediately said to myself "Some has posted a link to MKBHD's video" haha, I love MKBHD's videos.

 

Poor design choice in my opinion, suppose you can be careful but if you're like me and you're OCD you'd be constantly paranoid that whatever you're doing is going to bend the phone. Which is why I could never own this phone without a case, which again defeats the purpose of having the metal design.

Yeah his stuff is really well done, one of the few YouTuber's I'm actually sub'd to.

 

Plus a case would make this phone..absolutely massive. It already is, adding more girth is just a bad idea.
