There are no dates, no places, no what so ever

As long as it smokes the 980 i dont care about low power at the cost of around 500

But if they follow nvidia at all probably be a tonga based 300 series with a bit more performance  low power consumption and hdmi 2.0

I'm trying to avoid dual GPUs if I can.  Borderless windowed mode doesn't work with CF/SLi and when I'm streaming, it's the only logical mode to play.  My 2x7950's get so little use now that I stream ):

It breaks too many games so I just gave up and use a different computer or a tablet instead.

I'm willing to bet its going to be an R9 295 Tonga with that leaked hybrid Asetek cooler. slightly better performance than 290x, and much better thermals and power draw due to a better cooler and even faster responding powertune frequency (currently Hawaii adjusts voltages/clocks 100,000 times per second, but the stock AMD cooler negated any efficiency for benchmarks).

 

I'm also will to bet on an R9 255 and 275 Tonga, effectively making 250/270/290 cards discontinued if they followed the same pattern with the 285, and make their entire lineup with True Audio, blah blah etc... instead of just the 260(x), 265, 285, 290(x).

I hope AMD announces something soon, because dual 970s sounds pretty freaking sweet right now. Hopefully AMD undercuts Nvidia on price like they usually do, then it will be a hard choice!
