Hey guys,

My Razer Naga Hex finally died a second time from the exact same symptoms so I am going to get a refund from OCUK in order to buy a new, better mouse.

I have narrowed my choices down to these...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-020-ZW&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=1257

I am willing to choose other mice as well. But here's the thing, I also want to ensure that if the mouse comes with any software, it isn't complete garbage. I also don't want it to be too "Gam3r5w@G" for the sake of it.

Thanks

razer deathadder, corsair m45 and roccat pure optical. All 3 of them I had, my current is the roccat mouse. the corsair and the roccat has a true optical sensor and both are pretty good in terms of material quality. the razer mouse has a nice grip thou. All 3 can be used with or w/out software.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.

I'm going to reject the Razer because their quality control is non-existent and I also find that Razer are a bit too "Gam3r5w@G" for me.

Sensei RAW???

It is not that much more expensive.

I don't know any mice that you posted there, well I have never had hands-on experience, but I like Steelseries. I now have a keyboard and mouse from them and both perform really well.

I think you might want to take a look at the G402. It is in the same price range as the other mice you listed, and the sensor is great.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

I would look at the Corsair M45 raptor. It has the same body and material as the M65, and it gets rid of the retarded "sniper" button on the side. The software is easy to use, and best of all... its actually really cheap

So what does the stupid sniper button actually do?

I'd go for the G602/G600. Or if you play FPS games mostly, G502 and G402 aren't bad options as well.

What is you budget? I assume around £50?

Out of the three you linked the Kana and AM are solid choices. Some other mice you could take a look at are the rest of Zowie's line-up, SteelSeries Rival, CM Storm Alcor or Recon, Logitech G400s or G402 (G502 unless its too expensive), Corsair M40 or M45 and Mionix Naos 7000 or Avior 7000.

So what does the stupid sniper button actually do?

The sniper button is a button you can press with your thumb to change the sensitivity of the mouse while "sniping". It is supposed to lower the dpi so you're more accurate, but you can do whatever you want with it. I just found it annoying

Logitech G502 always scores very highly in all reviews. I have it and love it. Not too fancy but has all the bells and whistles that are needed and the shape of it is beautiful in the hand lolo.
