6. Winner Announcement; Claiming and Awarding of Prize

The winners of the MOD24 Gaming PC’s will be announced on the Contest website on or about September 22nd, 2014. Within 7 days following such announcement, the winners will be notified by NVIDIA via email. To claim the prize, the winner must do the following within 30 days from the date of NVIDIA’s notification:

B/w did they answer the right phrase. Was it "future is here" ? I barely slept that day got soo tired towards the end with 1 hr left. Loved the stream. Linus was high on sleep .

Nvidia still hasnt said who won yet.  They did confirm it the last letter was i though.  They did say around Monday they would let us know so maybe tomorrow?  (**edit did.  Sorry miss typed.  Ya they said the letter after they announced IBM as the winner.)

They are on west coast time, and midnight for them was 20 minutes ago... so I guess "on or about September 22nd" actually means Tuesday September 23rd... or 24th... or 25th... LOL!

They said they may be late. "The winners of the MOD24 Gaming PC’s will be announced on the Contest Website on or about September 22nd, 2014. " I'm also going to make a big assumption but the guy that came up with Mod24 is probably the same guy that has to pick the winner in accordance with the law.

Nvidia still hasnt said who won yet.  They didnt confirm it the last letter was i though.  They did say around Monday they would let us know so maybe tomorrow?

They did confirm the last letter was 'I', but no, they haven't announced the winners yet.

Winners haven't been announced, clearly the comp isn't working properly, so it's being trouble-shot!

They haven't announced why they haven't announced it either.

Yet they're still active on their Twitter and Facebook.

 

They can disprove conspiracy theories, but when it comes to selecting 3 random people, that's the real challenge.

Remember, it was initially a giveaway was 2 rigs that was given to the first two responders.  Now they are giving away 3 rigs away at random 3.  Also I'm sure that they will accept the answer with spaces or without spaces.   I am interested to find out how many people actually entered the contest.

I hope they post what place you came in, and remember during the stream they said that they were going to fix some things this is probably why it is delayed.

It doesnt matter what place you came in.  They are choosing 3 at random.  I was thinking the delay could be about them finishing the computers.  I was also thinking shipping is also going to be a nightmare.   I just hope it went well enough that they do it again for the next big release.

Even if they are still working on finishing/fixing the rigs to make sure they are working before they get shipped out... what is to stop them from picking the three winners and announcing them? Futhermore, what I find irritating, is that there has been no update posted about the delay and no information on how much longer we may have to wait for an announcement. So we all just get to keep refreshing that stupid page a dozen times a day.

it is weird there is no word from them on twitter, like sorry still figuring things out or the rigs are still being built or we have lost everyone's entry's and we need to do it all over again lol

ya the waiting does suck but lets say you win.  Do you really think your going to care about waiting a couple days to find out.  I just really hope they find Game24 and Mod24 to be a success so they do it for each major launch.
