The pass through for the speakers is coming from the same device, so the comp will only see one device in the system. I have the same issue (first world problem much?) I've 'fixed' it by just getting some speakers with a remote control so I can turn them off and still have them at the back of the desk... I was hoping the e10k would just disable the rear output if you plugged a headset in, but sadly not the case.

For UK, Ebuyer and Amazon have it at £49.98, £20 cheaper than a week ago when I bought it... Looks like they sorted the issues really well, that screen looks hugely better, but far and away the best bit is the front speakers. Dbrand did a great job with the skin, looks like factory work...
