What are you using to record?

What are your in-game settings?

You're using your boot drive to record to it looks like? That could be part of it.

Also make sure you dont have your FPS limit on in MC im pretty sure someone said that game has a slide bar to control it.

yeah, turned that off

My Setup :P

You playing the game, and recording on the same drive?

It's best if you use a separate drive, to record your footage on.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Update JAVA and/or allocate more RAM, Your rig Has to be able to run smoothly..
My old system with
CPU: AMD athlon 5200+ dual core
RAM: 4x1gb (each stick as 800Mhz)
GPU: asus radeon hd 4890
could run minecraft and record 1080p footage at 30 fps(with fraps)
at the same time and still stay over 30 fps.

My Gaming PC

|| CPU: Intel i5 4690@4.3Ghz || GPU: Dual ASUS gtx 1080 Strix. || RAM: 16gb (4x4gb) Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600Mhz. || Motherboard: MSI Z97S Krait edition. || OS: Win10 Pro
