Gigabyte G1 is really really good. The EVGA ACX is actually the one that is disappointing. The fans are smaller and because of that they make more noise and cool less efficiently

Hi,

Could you tell me guys which gtx 980 will be the best?

I thought about gigabyte g1 but people say that it sux.

what about evga acx superclocked?

In the last generation (700 series) the ACX was always the best cooler.

So I only assume that it got better in rev.2

I would go for an EVGA ACX superclocked.

It depends on what you mean by "Best".

well, performance and noise.

The gaming performance is about the same But the overclocking performance is different.

The Gigabyte windforce cards are cool and pretty silent, The ASUS Strix are cool and doesnt even start the fans unless the card goes over 60 degrees C.

Im not sure which brand is the best overclocker, Somebody else has to answer on that.

Gigabyte G1 comes in at something like 310mm...also with a backplate and it has really cool temps. And it lights up :P

Doesnt most aftermarket 980's have backplates? Even the stock 980 has a backplate.

The Windforce is pretty good, but I also like the Strix by Asus but EVGA's ACX 2.0 hasn't sounded too good from what I've heard...
