So I took my iPhone 4 (yes, it was jailbroken) out of my pocket today, and it was doing what it's doing in the attached GIF. I honestly have no idea how to fix it, plugging it in didn't do anything, trying to put it into DFU mode didn't do anything, holding the power and home button at the same time didn't do anything... I can live without a phone for a while, but oh God, all my accounts are 2-step verification so I can't get to anything without my phone.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Open it up and take the battery out. then presss the power button to drain and residual power, put the battery back in and try to start the phone. If that doesn't do it you have probably bricked your phone.

I do belive I lack the capability to open an iPhone... It's kinda sealed together and all... This means I can't take out the battery either. And I have no idea how it got bricked! It was working fine earlier today!

Yeah, I don't have a pentalobe screwdriver... To the store to get one I guess? If I can even find a store.

You should get one i mean it's still a phone you may be able to fix it with a few tricks

Yeah, I know. It doesn't seem like anywhere near me sells them though. Guess I'm straight out of luck then... The battery'll die before I'm able to take it apart.

If you don't have a pentalobe screw driver you can always break the point of a precision knife blade. It'll work, you just have to be really, REALLY, careful so you don't grind the aluminum screws.

Thank you. I was able to fix it by just letting the battery die, and then turned it back on again. Thankfully, it works again.
