I just got to silver 3 xD

haha yes, won 5 games in a row still silver two :l

then hop on for a 2nd game in a row and get it.... (classic cs:go)

 

Im still really new too, only had it for a month so i feel pretty good at my progress so far

 

I'm hoping to make it to silver elite someday! xD

Well, good luck with that. When I first started playing I got to silver elite master immediately due to having experience on counter-strike source. 

You should buy source and try out bhop sometime.

I am fucking block at Nova 3 or 2. I go from 2 to 3 and then from 3 to 2 . Can't move up. I hate it.

 

But CSGO is the best game and I play only that one, so I guess it's fine

Yeah its really hard to rank up in this game! Try practicing and look up tips, and play in a party! (communication is key)

Yeah I got that you need to defuse or plant to gain faster. But still, difficult also when your teamates sucks

I'm DMG and the most I've ever aced was 4 rounds when I paired up with a friend who is ranked Silver Elite xD Got matched up with Novas :) fun times~

 

NOTE: I also started at Gold Nova 2 after my 10 placement games, but worked my way up to DMG after ~150 hours of play :P I watched youtube videos and went into Play offline w/ bots and used the console commands

 

sv_cheats 1

sv_infiniteammo 1

sv_showimpacts 2

give weapon_ak47 OR give weapon_m4a1_silencer OR give weapon_m4a1

 

they are useful for training :) also watching CS:GO Adren on youtube is quite the helpful lad with smoke spots and recoil control. A lot of people i notice at Nova/MG level like to burst 2-3 shots even from medium range, but the ak and M4 can both be sprayed in bursts of 5-7 shots and still be accurate from, say, Dust II long corner, all the way to CT spawn ramp.

You're not missing much in DMG either lol you call strats and no one wants to do them, and when you get tired and stop calling them people complain that you're not calling strats. Of course, if you call one and you fail you get raged at lol

Thats cool! And I feel you on the rage part! I have a friend who takes the game way to seriously (Like cmon im only silver 3) (he's nova 3?) and its frustrating when someone else does too!

Watching pros also help me to play better.  Like when I was watching the ESL One, it increase my skills.

 

But I am playing mainly to have fun and a good time, so going up the ladder isn't really my priority.
