Safe RPM to run H80i fans at?

Coombzy

So I upgraded my case to the H440 recently and I noticed a noise on the H80i fans I set a custom curb of a minimum of 500 RPM and max 1000 RPM do you think it can still push air through the rad fine? or should I turn them up a little?

It depends on how quiet you want it to be. For me, I usually recommend +200/300rpm for a fan that is inaudible at the maximum rpm.

They'll be able to move the air, just watch your temps.

I'm going to probably end up replacing the stock fans at some point anyway but should I try some rendering/gaming tests and watch the temps?

Just run AIDA64 for a few minutes and you'll see how high it gets.

Yeah it shoud be fine, the moment the liquid temperature rises it'll also forcibly go for more RPM.

You can always manually check your temps to be on the safe side.

Didn't want to run anything like that but I did some Vegas render tests and some Battlefield it got a max temp of 68 degrees is this high or low for gaming or rendering? I never used to check temps before.

It's good, nothing to worry about.

As all the others are saying, set the RPM speed to whatever you like.. Run some games or some stress testing software and measure your Temperatures using one of the recommended temp monitors.. Like RealTemp or CoreTemp.
