What would be a good idea for an AMD build that would equal a build with a high end i5 processor using intel integrated graphics.

I'm looking to build one and have always favored intel but I don't want to underestimate AMD knowing that they build some nice processors.

Anybody got some advice?

What's your budget? For lower budget PC's, get AMD (FX-8350), if you have more to spend it's better to go with an I5.

Yeah that's a good choice too, though the 8350 is not that much more expensive.

Honestly what are you doing with your computer. As everyone ever would tell you :P

If you are editing videos producing audio or video go with Intel

If your gaming save yourself the money and go with AMD you can stream record and play games all fine with AMD.

Accidentally posting comments whoo!

Professional!

If your only browsing the Internet watching tv or youtube videos then buy a cheap laptop off of ebay.

Don't go with AMD. They are in a bad shape right now & as I heard they're not even going to change architecture till 2016 if this brand will still make it to that time. Stay with Intel dude.
