So my question is for us the community, Why don't we request from ek to produce single slot water blocks for nvidia and amd cards in the 900 and 300 series . Imagine three way sli/cfx in a matx x99 system? in a phanteks mini xl? 8core? evga x99 micro? the possibilities would be endless lol. Freaking 5 way crossfire? it would also lead to cleaner builds.

EK currently does sell single slot water blocks for high end cards, but depending of the placement of the fittings it could be hard to fit multiple GPUs. Crossfire water bridges should work around the issue. They probably will have the single slot options for the next generation of GPUs.

But why bother going so small when you are using a massive case like the Mini XL, phanteks did a mATX case that is 55cm tall, you can grab a Arc Mini R2 and fit 5x120mm worth of radiator space, while having a much smaller case.

5-way GPU configurations don't exist, and even going quad makes no sense whatsoever.

This is a single slot R9 295X

You'd still need like a slot gap for the fittings...

But you could put a Network Card or PCIe SSD In that space I guess ...

Main Machine:  16 inch MacBook Pro (2021), Apple M1 Pro (10 CPU, 16 GPU Core), 512GB SDD, 16GB RAM

Gaming Machine:  Acer Nitro 5, Core i7 10750H, RTX 3060 (L) 6GB, 1TB SSD (Boot), 2TB SSD (Storage), 32GB DDR4 RAM

Other Tech: iPhone 15 Pro Max, Series 6 Apple Watch (LTE), AirPods Max, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PS3, Xbox 360

Network Gear:  TP Link Gigabit 24 Port Switch, TP-Link Deco M4 Mesh Wi-Fi, M1 MacMini File & Media Server with 8TB of RAID 1 Storage

Because EK waterblocks are aftermarket. Graphics cards will have two PCIe slots taken up by the display connectors and PCI bracket. If you want a single slot card get an EVGA hydro copper GPU.
