1: just wanted to know if I missed anything

2: have a functioning phone now

3: most of the negatives I don't care about

4: different, interesting, Nokia great camera

I think for sure there will be and anyone who says windows phone is going to die is stupid imo i really think its not going anywhere microsoft has the money resources to keep it going for as long as they want and i think we will see it pick up once more devs join in, they fix the google relationship for youtube and they get there integration rolling with there other platforms like windows 8 desktop and tablet devices.

Yeah Nokia phones are 90% of the WP device lineup. Microsoft purchased the entire Nokia mobile division from Nokia. So in a sense, Nokia may not make future ones, but if so, Microsoft will be making them directly.

Also, Linus has very specific needs from his mobile device, and basically ignored or didn't mention at all, a TON of the advantages/good things about WP8.1.

And there's no way that WP will be dead in a year. Their market growth has slowed a bit lately, but overall it's very strong, with them steadily heading upwards in marketshare. Microsoft is pushing hard to keep improving WP, with things like Cortana. They would not be doing that if they intended on dropping out of the market anytime soon.

Well I wouldn't count on Google integration anytime soon. BUT that is ENTIRELY Google's fault. Google is being a bully and/or an ass about it. They'll make services for iOS (Okay sure, it's a larger marketshare), but they won't even let Microsoft make their own Google integrated services - at least not ones that function fully. They won't cooperate with Microsoft at all. This is the problem/risk with Vertical Integration.
