Correct me if im wrong, but i dont think newegg makes those picture-advertisment-add-things the seller does.

I'm sorry, is newegg not permitted to make a single mistake? Mistakes happen and if you purchase this monitor on the thought that it is 4k without double checking it is you making a stupid decision of not double checking. Errors can always happen and especially with essential info like that you need to double check. If you order this in a whim of seeing "4K" without double checking it is not Newegg ripping you off, it's you making a really really impulsive decision.

Well, they also photoshop monitors to make them look thinner, too. (well, so I've heard)

So you've heard. Unless they have legit proof that is irrefutable those stories should just be considered either bullshit or customers expecting more without reading what they actually bought.

I've seen the photos on Newegg and people then took pictures of the monitor and it was totally different. That was proof enough.

I was going to say I'd still buy it but it's 27 inch rather than 24 inch.

I have 27" 1080p and it still looks pretty damn good. Just make sure the 27" 1080p is native 1080p though. A 1440p native running at 1080p does not look so good usually.

Yeah newegg is being derpy. They only just FINALLY added the new noctua fans to their pages, the 2000rpm (not 3000?) fans too, no redux, no pictures, no price. Just a name.

Wake the fuck up newegg.

Hello ThatSweetGamer,

I do apologize for any inconvenience or confusion you may have saw on our Newegg.com. At the moment I was unable to locate on our site the advertisement that shows that this Acer XB270H Monitor is 4K. When looking at the front page, what shows is that it is 1ms Response time and not 4k. If possible please email us at wecare@Newegg_Support.com with more details so we may look further into this.
