Best android music player

I am getting tired of google play music.

I prefer free but might be willing to spend a dollar or 2.

PowerAmp is not my favorite either.

I've been using Shuttle for a pretty long time.

 

Has a free version, think the only thing you gain in the paid is tag editing, chrome cast and a file browser.

Do you have a legit source, I can't find it in the play store and I am  little worried about an unknown apk from somewhere.

If you do want to try out Apollo, its downloaded via F-Droid, an open-source android app platform. 

Download F-Droid from here, and then install Apollo from there.

If you do want to try out Apollo, its downloaded via F-Droid, an open-source android app platform. 

Download F-Droid from here, and then install Apollo from there.

Xperia Walkman.

 

You'll need to find an .apk on the internet though and you'll need to manually update, as in finding an updated apk. But it's worth it if you ask me.

Ive not tried many, i just want it to have the ability to change the song on the lock screen so i use vlc.
