Grid Autosport Worth Picking Up?

It's £15 plus some DLCs on steam atm . . . I loved the first grid, didn't much care for the second, but the blury cockpit view has put me off purchasing, but I guess for £15 it would be worth buying? . . However if I don't buy it I'll probs get 2033 Redux. . . (totally different kind of game I know)

Thoughts?

Personally I would get metro 2033 redux. Simply because I already have Dirt 3 (I basically got it for free for using raptor/AMD gaming evolved app)

EDIT: unless you have a steering wheel I would get Metro, that game is excellent story-wise, and even more appealing now that the game it self is (supposedly) fixed

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.

yeah I was hyped for metro before it's release, but strangley I'm not in a rush to play it, I could hold out another fortnight or so, I don't think the price is going to budge.

I think I'm gonna get it . . . I've set a new rule for myself now see, not going to buy a new game until I complete a game (unless it's something like Skyrim etc...) but the last game I completed was Wolfenstein NO. . . so now I'm abit burnt out with the ol' FPS for a bit.

the latest Wolfenstein seemed uncompleted and lacked high expectations!

I was confused by the 40gb install and low textures. . . not to mention that bizzare video settings menu

it was a massively rushed nonsensical sized game

well optimized and good-looking game suffices with a very low size! :)

I might pick it up as well if it has proper controller support

Grid one is awesome but 2... it is just too arcade whereas for example the drifting in one was challenging but boy, was fun

Is the driving more likely one or 2?

There are advanced options, I've set mine

Steering Deadzone - 5 (goes to 20)

Steering Saturation - 100%

Steering Linearity - Minus 4

Throttle Deadzone - 5%

Throttle Saturation - 90%

Brake  Deadzone - 5%

Brake Saturation - 90%

Interior Steering Wheel  - On

It drives much better than grid 2, it's not sim smooth but it's alot better so far from my short experience.
