As a consumer, I say take a day off.

However, if I had a job like that, I'd probably say make your hygiene is more than top notch and go to work if it's not much more than a cold. Then again, jobs are rare here so what do I know.

Ok so i work at burger king, i have been working for almost a year their. i have taken about 6-8 days.

im feeling crappy today. should i call in sick, should i go to work.

thanks

If you feel crappy still go, because with less than 2.5 years after 10 days (unless you have a nice boss) off in the same year they are more than likely to let you go. thats just how they are

That sucks. What if you work there like 20 years, can they still fire you within a day?

in the past 3 years i have 2 sick days, both times i've had massive fever and could not get out of bed, but i do not work in the service profession so me being sickly but still working have no effect on cast iron engine blocks / aluminum parts, If you feel like yourself telling that you should not go to work then fine, but if you feel like its just to tough it out then do it, of course if you have a cold and work in food businesses then just stay the hell home, but headache ?, work dat shit off-

it can be 50 years, the lowest position where you have to work for them to not be allowed to do that is district manager, and some times general manager, but the basic employes, and managers (not general, there is one general per store, and several regular or more per store), can be fired without any notice, shoule they deserve it, except regular employees like production cook, counter, expisiting, ect can be fired at any time without a reason given by the general manager or higher.

Nothing to see here, move along
