What's the best low budget CPU?

Kimchi

By low budget I mean around $50-60. Would it be better to go with say a G3258 or one of the low end AMDs?

If you're going integrated graphics, some of AMD's offerings are better.

If you have a dedicated graphics card (or are using for non-graphical things), go for the Pentium

Compatible with Windows 95

Probably the g3258, although I would save a bit more as a dual core cpu will really struggle with some applications.
