Build now or wait?

So I was getting ready to build my new PC but all the X99 stuff is coming out. So a couple of questions. How long before you think this stuff will come down in price. I need the 5820K to be $200-$230 at micro center, the Asus X99 deluxe to be $200 and a DDR4 8 gig kit around $100. I was going to get a 4690K and a ROG Maximus Vii hero.

They won't.

On later releases (X79 for example) prices didn't changed. However you can find from time to time some Microcenter combo discount, which are nice but don't have outstanding savings.

i7 5820K at those prices? Not going to happen.

2) you do not need x99

Put it this way 3960Xs and 4960Xs, where you can still get them both still cost £700 (~$1000) so I don't think they are ever going to lose value, just availability.
