i need help making a windows install disk

so i have a ISO file, i opened it, and copied the contentce to a DVD, and then burnt it onto it.

 

I read somewhere that you just double click the ISO and it opens a window to select a drive to burn it to, but my pc didn't do that....

 

so how do i do it? also can you guys send me a link to a good win7 download? i go my 64 bit home edition from here:

Don't use a DVD. Use a USB - it's much faster.

Personally I use PowerISO to do ISO stuff.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

i would, but i dont have a spare usb, i only have one. and i use it, with a disk, i can throw it on my shelf and forget about it

You don't need to extract ISO or anything like that. ISO is image of DVD/CD. On your burning software you select Burn ISO disc, select which ISO you want to press burn. Thats it.

Burn to disk.

 

Or use a USB. I like a utility called rufus myself.
