I have some questions about cases, graphics card and motherboard!

Hi I am new to the thread and it's my first time building a computer  B)

I recently have order a AMD 7970 Vapor-X Ghz Edition and I do not know the size of it. But the standard models are 10"  to 12" (11.5")

I also need to buy a case but there are categories I do not understand.

Questions:

1. What is a Midi Case?

2. How is a MIdi Case different from a Medium Case?

3. Does an ATX Case mean it would fit my long graphics card and motherboard into it?

----

If someone could find me a reasonable priced case around £20- £60 and it fits my Graphics card it would be great  :P

(My motherboard is an ASRock 990fx Fala!ty Professional)

The differences are about size, expandability, etc. Smaller cases of course enable you to stick the case in a more confined area, while a larger case will grand you with more airflow, hard drive cages, more room for longer video cards, etc. If you have an ATX motherboard and ATX case, it'll fit. If you have a long graphics card, you're going to have to measure. When purchasing a case, they usually mention the maximum length for a video card.

1/2: its in between mini and medium. midi is slightly smaller than medium

3: your motherboard should be fine, but check the manufactures website for your graphics card.
