Hello everyone,

I thought this thin was normal, but after seeing one of tek syndicate videos where the bios was running completely smooth i had this question in mind.

Whenever i open the bios my mouse moves really laggy, like skips pixel and does not make a smooth path. Why is this? Is mouse fault or my cpu?

The mouse is a 20 dollar keyboard+mouse combo from logitech, so pretty crappy, while my cpu is a i5 4670k at stock speeds.

Thanks.

Without telling us what kind of motherboard you're using and if you've updated the BIOS at all, I would have to say aliens are using your BIOS energy to power up their space/time distortion machine, hence the lag.

Those damned aliens, i better make some spaghetti to keep them busy

The MB is a gigabyte z87-UD3H With the stock bios that came with it.

There's not really a "stock" bios, they ship with whatever is current.  Same motherboard manufactured a week apart could ship with 2 different BIOS...  Since you're on 4th gen core it should be at least 2 BIOS's behind (one being a beta) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4481#bios  Might as well update and see if it helps.

If it helps, mine had same problem. It also crashed so I changed it to legacy.

also verify CPU voltages when using Z87 giggy boards. reports of massive voltage

application to stock have been found ( @JayzTwoCents found out the hard way)

I thought that was problem with Haswell refresh only. My auto volts worked fine, even under stress testing. I think 1.26V was highest it got.
