780ti or r9 290x? im going to be using 3 monitors, want 1080p. will buy 2 graphics cards if I need  them, I don't know what to do. money is not a issue

Look at benchmarks and take it from there. I'd likely go with a 290x.

unless you need anything Nvidia offers go with a 780

AMD cards are generally better with multiple monitors, and yeah, I would recommend waiting too

as much of a fan i am of nvidia the 3GB vram hurts go with the 290x

I use 2 gtx 780ti for 4k gaming which is essentially four 1080p screens combined and it runs smooth at very high to ultra settings. You can't go wrong with either option, 3gb of VRAM is not an issue in most cases. If you need the cards now, I would recommend 780ti because it's a faster card for gaming.
