What GPU for two 4k monitors? (not for gaming)

760 4GB

System: 5930K, MSI X99 SLI PLUS, GTX 780Ti (SLI),  840 EVO, Fractal R4 (Full Custom Loop)  (IP)

Media Server/Perm Folder: i3 4130, CX500, 4 X WD Red 1TB, 60GB Adata SSD for boot, Node 304, ASrock Z87-E ITX, 8GB Kingston Value Ram

I don't understand how you could use 2Gb of vram if you're not gaming?

EDIT: 760 4GB?

Probably, I'd go 850 for legroom though

so two TVs, which means no more than 24p/30p anyway ;)

 

I'd say pretty much any (newer) GPU could handle that.

According to this heavy web usage resulted in use of 1260mb of vram usage

So for two screens u would need 3gb min

Also for two 4k screens I couldn't fund any info that it could or couldn't support it

But two DP will be necessary

IF NOT gaming and no displayport 1.2 , than something with HDMI + DVI double link that can be adapted to hdmi .

GTX660 should be more than enough -2gb vram-

A single r9 290x 8gb edition from over lockers uk would have no issues IMO if you can afford it.
