Possibly, but you should just spend a bit more and get a real gpu. The only reason to get such a cheap card is because your cpu will bottleneck a real card anyway....although, it still worthwhile getting a real card since you can always upgrade to a real cpu down the road.

well my friend is using amd intergrated graphics atm and  is only getting 20 fps ish he wants a graphics card that can tie him over till he can get a new pc

You guys underestimate the GT 610 and overestimate League of Legends. League of Legends can look very crappy at lowest settings, so it should be fine.

I had a GT610 ran Minecraft on fancy with 12 render distance. 64x texture pack. 40-50FPS. Whatever that translates to.

My brother have a gt 610 2 Gb (Dammit) and a core 2 duo E6550 @ 2.5Ghz. He plays in a 1280x1024 monitor at 80 fps at lowest settings.

Personally I recommend you to buy something more powerful like gt630 (real shit yet lol) for a smooth gaming experience, only in LoL.

 

For the love of god, don't buy 2Gb version of this cards, 1Gb is enough. Gt 610 is 40€ and gt 630 is 50-60€ in spain, I don't know near to you.

 

PD: I have the gt630 and a pentium g645 and run LoL at 100fps in Very high settings at 1366x768 res.
