As the title states, I'd like to be able to game on a 1440p monitor. 1 or 2, depends on the price of the components and what you guys recommand me.

4. Peripherals

don't waste the money on 4 cards the profit you get from 3rd and 4th is not worth your money.

with this combo you would be having the time of your life 2 screens you can game on them both if you want it will give you a ton of workspace and the dual 290x is all the raw power for this beast

the case got a lot of room that you can expand when needed.

i hooked you up with 2 very fast ssd that you can configure in raid for a fast work time and reducing time spend on waiting.

also got you 2 4TB hdd with each 128mb cache also for a raid config to smooth up all your files or just to use them as 8 TB storage. (video editing etc takes a lot space)

with the 32GB ram at cas 9 you won't be sorry to buy this rig.

the cpu is handeled by closed watercooling and ready to be oc'd

also added a blue ray writer for you never know what you want to do next

all this is holding togheter with a great MSI z97 gaming mobo and driven by a awesome 1200 watt 80+gold psu

I wouldn't spend 5000$ on a gaming pc. The more your pc costs the worse the price/performance ratio.

You could buy one for less money and upgrade every few years.

@ItxCrow,

The psu is purposefully large to allow a second gpu. Peripherals should always be a personal choice, but I list some that might be suitable.

Not if you want to max out at 12k resolution spanning 3 4k monitors.

I agree that 5000 USD is excessive unless you're building a massive watercooling loop from the ground up.

Which is something that I don't think has been brought up yet.

I would say you should do a loop with the gpu's and cpu in it.

I would go with the intel 4930k, a Asus WS board, 64 gb of ram

and a couple 780 ti's. Should have more than enough money to fill in the blanks.

If you weren't going to water cool this is what I would suggest. The case gives you room to expand if you like. The massive amount of memory and 6 core processor are great for both video editing and high end gaming. You could always just get 32gb of ram and an extra monitor but hey you can customize a bit yourself. Also I just tossed in some of my favorite periphs but they are really your choice. Also 2 ssd's for raid 0 for performance. You will draw some extra current with the 770's but it is more cost efficient than the 780s and will still be able to run everything just fine in sli, as well as be beast in rendering.
