Just checking to see if I picked the best parts for my budget of $1100. Also looking to make sure none of these parts have compatibility issues with each other. Any suggestions?

Personally I'd buy a 280x rather than that card. You can get one for another $20.

I'd also get two 4gb sticks instead of one 8gb stick.

No SSD? If money's tight now, just get a 256gb SSD with the 2tb money, and buy a 1tb or 2tb when you get the extra $60.

You can ditch the optical drive to save some money. I got one, used it once, and regretted the purchase.

If you're not including an SSD in your build then I would swap out that Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD for a 2TB Western Digital Black HDD. They're just more reliable and have a more consistent speed from several things that I've read. If you decided to whack in an SSD then I wouldn't worry about this and would keep the Seagate Barracuda HDD that you currently have selected. ;)

Just one other thing. It makes it much easier for us if you use http://pcpartpicker.com to configure your build as we can swap things in and out and are better able to give you good recommendations. Plus if you could read this () and cover all areas we'd be better able to help you out with your build. :)
