Semi modular 8 pin connection

I have thermaltake semi modular PSU using it to power r9 280x that need 2-8 pin power connectors

So i have one cable that has 8 pin end ( connected it to the psu) and on the other side it has 2 6+2 pin connectors can i use those to power up the 2-8 pin power connectors of the gpu or i just use one and connect another cable like this for the other 8 pin ?

What exact Thermaltake PSU do you have?

 

If I understand correctly what you are trying to say, you have a cable that goes into one of the sockets on the PSU and the other end has two (6+2)pin connectors.

You can use this. You can also use this cable and the one with the 8pin but you will have to deal with more cables. Not good for cable management

Yeah but it's suggested you use one cable for each 8 pin if you can

Use one 6+2 cable and the other 8 pin just to be safe.

But it is possible to use both the 6+2 pins on the same cable if you want a less messy build.
