Barracuda 1TB drives

Hi

I've heard somewhere on this forum that Seagate Barracuda 1TB drives have some problems during the first install. As I will be buying one for my build, I would like to be prepared and know more details about this issue and how to avoid/fix it. If there isn't any issue, sorry.

i use the STxxxxDMxxxx and STxxxxVNxxxx drives, i have not had any issues with them, I have had 2 WD blacks fail on me while the seagate i purchased around the same time is still going strong but everyone else has different experiences

Seagate Drive are fine. I don't where people here these stories. I've had one for about 4-5 years, still going strong.
