Market share of phones.

So i want to know what % of smartphones companys hold.

I always see 3 phones right now, iphone 4s, iphone 5c and the sg3. Every know and then i will see some other "budget" android phone.

I dont think this is a acurate conpared to the phone actually out there so does anyone have a updated chat lf this

Samsung by far dominates the Android marketplace. They hold a huge majority of the "most popular" devices.

Apple vs Android depends where you go. North America they're much closer than say a developing nation due to the cost. Apple just doesn't offer a cheap phone. As a result they'll continue to lose sales, which may in the long run mean they start losing money as those people may be more inclined to stay within the same ecosystem as they upgrade.]

 

Apparently in 2013 Android held 78.6% with iOs holding 15.2%.

Samsung phones aren't garbage as long as they flash the crap UI with another ROM, but most people don't want the best experience I guess

Where I'm at it's either like... 50% iPhone 4/4s/5/5s(if that exists I don't like apple), then 25% Galaxy S4/S5, then 23% random android phones, 1% windows phones, and 1% other

Me too   People need to know there's better phones for the price and that custom ROMs are pretty easy to install

Most young and hip people have the iPhone, people in their 20's have Samsungs and Nokias/Windows Phone and the rest have either low budget or high end Android devices as well as Flip/Classic Phones.

Huawei is a shady Chinese company. This is just Android fragmentation, it doesn't include Apple.

You can get a rough idea for Iphone sales based on their market share, seeing as they really only have a couple of devices.

Check out their Ascend P7. Looks pretty beast imo. Huawei is making quite a big uprising here in Belgium. I'm considering buying that Ascend when my S2 finnaly breaks.

Oh I don't mean in terms of build or product, I mean in terms of information gathering.

They've already been black listed by several nations governments.
