Please not the Corsair one it is loud with the ref blower. Get the nzxt and put a noctua fan in it.

This comes from your personal experience then? I have one on the way to me and I fully expect it to be quiet. The blower doesn't have to cool the core so it won't be running more than 30-40% speed max.

It would still spin faster than for example a noctua fan. 30-40% is still quite high rpm with blower style fans. At least for my liking. It would kind of defeat the purpose in my mind to have a small blower going over 1000rpm when watercooling is used for most of the cooling. I dont think the Corsair one is bad in any way, it is just too loud for my liking.

I am just curious here- have you heard the AMD reference blower at 30%? Corsair says 20% is usually enough as well. Comparing a small blower fan to a 120/140mm Noctua is apples to oranges as well.

Seeing how I do have a HG10 coming soon here, I can confirm exactly how loud it is at 20-40% speeds and how hot the VRMs get. I just don't understand people dismissing a product before any reviews or personal experience.

I just personally dont like the idea of blower fans near my pc. I guess that is why i use fullcover blocks anyway. So no hard feelings. I just personally would not go that route.

Oh no hard feelings at all, I completely agree with a custom loop being the best solution myself :)

Just saying that shouldn't keep other people who can't afford a custom loop from this solution without getting reviews first.

I have nothing against the brackets. Just blower fans.
