I always eat pretzels or goldfish. Pretzels are pretty much the perfect gaming food, really tasty, and no mess.

use chopsticks to eat your chips. Doesn't make your hands greasy. :D
I'm asian and I use chopsticks to eat potato chips when there is downtime in my gaming sessions :)

How come no one mentioned beef jerky?! You can eat those with the wrapper on and chew for a long time depending on how much you bit off.

Dried mangos. I don't think there's much that really compares. Dried banana, too...

I heard this on the KBMOD podcast and honestly it's a great snack

pretzels and rootbeer

Why pretzels and rootbear? I don't know if you've ever eaten a pretzel before but it leaves zero residue on your hands so as soon as that spawn timer hits zero you're good to go. Rootbeer is the perfect complement to the pretzels. I personally have peanut butter filled pretzels and rootbeer and it is one great gaming snack.

@ Gceorge It's really the way you cook it. That looks like Microwaved bacon to me and that tend to be pretty greasy. I bake mine over a drip catcher thingy. Sort of like this but stamped metal instead of wire. preview.TinyURL.com/a6glxka

For me, a gaming snack has to be a direct threat to your mouse and keyboard. If it's not greasy, it's not worthy. Jus' sayin'

  • H70 cooled i5 3570k - 4.8ghz
  • Palit GTX660ti Jetstream - 2GB

  • Logitech G19 - Never worked properly
  • A place to store one DVD or CD - I'm yet to find a use for it
  • Many fans - Coolermaster and Corsair
  • Minuscule amount of dust - To be removed

Well, this is what I made myself. 3 straws in 1, and some cracks.

Gummy worms and Red Bull. Red Bull should probably pay me since I've drank about three times my body weight in it in the past year. >__>
Red bull is way to expensive, I bet you could get something at like 1/4 of the price that tastes exactly the same.

Great question.

I like any baked, finger food. Chips, pretzels, crackers, etc. So long as their baked, my keyboard stays clean. And, always have a damp dishcloth handy.

+1 for coffee...also lots of water...but here's what's in my kitchen...

1. Peeled & Separated & FROZEN Cuties (California Mandarin Oranges).

2. Frozen red grapes (seedless).

3. Pomegranate seeds (prep time is longer but it's that much more rewarding).

4. Dehydrated pineapple slices (homemade from fresh fruit, not from a bag; SAVOR THE FLAVOR).

I also love berries (in season, don't waste your money from grocery store). and things like this keep for a month and require very little prep time, just peel n' freeze/dehydrate).

No, I am on watch weighers; it is a club for people who obsessively need to check the weight of their watches.
