i have it. well 750... its still holding ok, but i guarantee you it wont in the next 3 years. or the next 2 years

The oldest processor I own is an Intel i7 960

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

It's comparable (on stock atleast) to a overclocked FX-4300 / stock i3-2100. So it's still ok for modern aaa-console ports and such.

But it's pretty bottom barrel at this point, so actual next-gen games like star citizen will run crap on it.
