27 Gaming Monitor - IPS, LCD or 144mhz?

Hi!

Can you make a list from your favorite 27' monitors?

 

I want to buy a gaming monitor but I don't understand if I should buy an IPS, LCD or 144MHz monitor...

 

I  have a standard 21,5' ASUS Monitor and now I want a 27' one.

 

Can you please help me choosing?

well my budget is top 350€/450$.

Asus PB278Q, it's a fantastic native 8-bit PLS panel (same as IPS).  I use it for everything in conjunction with two 24" and have zero complaints.  I hear samsung has some good 27" 1440p monitors as well, and if color accuracy is important go with a dell 2713.

why do you choose IPS and why it's better than the other types of monitors?

But IPS if you want better color reproduction and viewing angles, though these generally only have about a 5ms response time (which I doubt you would notice, and if you did its not gonna be any disadvantage). If you want as fast as possible refresh rates an response times I'd go for 1/2ms 144hz monitor.
